As part of its zeal to provide support to the countries participating in the Expo 2020 Dubai, and to ensure the completion of all development work for the international participants’ pavilions, within the agreed period, the Dubai Aviation City Corporation and its subsidiary “Dubai South” announced the completion of more than 4,000 Mumala through its integrated platform “Aconex”, developed to enable flexible and unified communication between “Dubai South” and all other local entities and authorities associated with the “Expo” hold, to provide through a unified smart portal for all services.
“Dubai South” said in a statement yesterday that each participating country had submitted a package of designs and master plans, some of which had been reviewed internally, especially those related to structural design and architecture, while others shared aspects with local authorities. and discussed to obtain their views and issue certificates of non-disclosure.
She added that after the completion of the review and evaluation work by all parties involved, all packages were compiled and referred to the relevant organizing committees at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Among the services rendered, Dubai South reviewed and approved 252 well-equipped interior designs for pavilions and facilities distributed in different areas of Expo 2020, in addition to issuing 93 building licenses to participating countries and other projects, including, for example, the main pavilion in the region Events, helicopter platform, main reception areas, Expo Mall, and the three main power stations, as well as various buildings and services.
The designs were reviewed and approved in collaboration with the competent local authorities, and permits and completion certificates were issued to many well-known local and international restaurants at Expo 2020 Dubai, after obtaining the necessary operational credits from other local authorities.
Finally, the final inspections of all participating countries were completed in time to ensure their complete readiness on the opening day.
In addition, the “Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project”, the first free zone dedicated to aviation services in the region in “Dubai South”, confirmed its full readiness to receive visitors and provide them with the best services through the project’s private aviation building.
It comes within the framework of the ongoing collaboration between Dubai-South and various government institutions, to emphasize the emirate’s position, and in a way that reflects its prestigious reputation that has been improved over decades.
The private aviation building is equipped to receive large numbers of dignitaries and participants, in collaboration with the exhibition organizers and other relevant government agencies, in light of expectations that the number of GDP travelers through the building will increase during the global event. The number of Corona test facilities will be increased to ensure that travelers spend as little time in the building as possible.
In addition, the ground operators of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project” will be fully prepared to welcome visitors and receive them according to the highest standards.
Among the other notable achievements near the launch of the first phase of the “Dubai Helipark” project, the helicopter center of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project”, with the aim of meeting the needs of GDPs that want to benefit the most luxury and exclusive means of transport to attend the exhibition, and air transport to many helicopter platforms across the UAE.
The aircraft catering services, affiliated with Emirates Airlines, will operate through its facility in the “Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project” to keep pace with the increasing demand for passengers arriving through the GDP building.
