The value of zakat .. 10 ways to make money

Zakat and piggy bank

If the rich Muslims spent their zakat, there would not be one poor person, and if the rich of our country take out their zakat, there would be no remaining poor in the country, and if five of the rich people of our country their zakat out and reach those who deserve it, there would be no poor left in our country. Is the payment of zakat really the only way to earn money and move people from poverty to Subsistence at least? Is the Muslim community divided into a payer for Zakat and a future for it, or a third for them? Or are there other ways that Islam made legislation for legal merit and delegated it, and arranged the ruling on it?

To gain wealth for people, Islam takes several ways, including:

The bringing of pride into the souls, glory belongs to God, His Messenger and the believers, and one of the meanings of pride is that the hand of a Muslim is the superior, because it is better than the underhand, and the prevailing hand is the giver Economic problems

2. He tried to aggravate the issue when he showed the bad effect it had on the questioner’s face on the Day of Resurrection. On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: his face comes. ” He said: O Messenger of God, what is riches? He said: Fifty dirhams, or its value in gold.[1]And the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, explained the punishment of someone who asks people for help while possessing the equivalent of 148.75 grams of gold, that his face will come on the Day of Resurrection twisted by traces of beats.

3. The urge to work, that human activity that results in an intellectual or practical fruit by dealing with the existing wealth and its transformation into commodities that people need and the activities that serve this life movement such as transportation, marketing, trade, factories, management, and so on. God Almighty says: {So he who does an atom’s weight of good will see it (7), and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it} [الزلزلة: 7-8] With the expansion of the concept of goodness to include everything that pleases God, benefits people and sustains the earth, Islam looks at every work characterized by these qualities with a look of appreciation and respect and sees that hard work is a reason for forgiveness is of sins, and it is said that Aisha, may God have a pleasure in him, said: [مرهقا] Everyone who does lawful deeds, God is pleased with him, and he is now forgiven.)[2] Unlike some societies that view certain actions with contempt.

It is unfortunate that the works we despise and belittle their owners are works that are life-sustaining, and they cannot be dismissed, not even those who perform them, and in Islamic society there is an appreciation of business owners according to what they offer to society. The benefits to the individual and society from work are many, including psychological, including mental, skill and financial. It is enough that work diverts energies to the beneficial and takes it away from the emptiness that elicits the whispers of demons and evil. thoughts.

4. Use of the available resources to provide work. A man came to the prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, ask him for help. He, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, asked him if he had anything in his house. The man listed his belongings, which were a piece of cloth of the worst kind. They wear some and make of it. A mattress on the ground and a bowl for them to drink in. When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asked the man to bring it and sell it at auction for two dirhams. The prophet, peace and blessings upon him, asked him to buy food for one dirham, and in the end he would come and cut down trees to gather firewood – and this was the fuel they had -, he also commanded him not to return to the meeting of the prophet, may God bless him and give him peace give, up to fifteen days[3].

The fruit of this work during these days were ten blessed dirhams, which came because of hard work and for that a wise measure of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, bringing his attention and our attention with him settled on investing the available resources in work, no matter how little.

Islam abhors emptiness or entertainment and movement that makes no sense. Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, said: I hate to see a man do his best, not he is in the work of this world or in the work of the hereafter, to spend his time and effort without it brings him good in this world and the hereafter.

Islam valued work and earning money, and God Almighty called it in His Noble Book: “Seek God’s grace” {So when the prayer is complete, spread out in the land and seek God’s grace, and slander them.} [الجمعة: 10] Any honor of action is greater than this and places those who earn money by trading with the owners of degrees in paradise, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: He and peace upon him: “There is no Muslim. who sows crops, or plants a seed, and eats a bird or bird, or a bird. Joining a person to the labor force means an increase in national income, a reduction in unemployment rates and an economic movement that results in profit for all.

5. To regard the rich as a blessing, for what God Almighty summed up from the blessings he gave to the prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be with him, is the blessing to be rich. [الضحى: 8] Including the promise of a great reward for the spenders, Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him, prepared the army of affliction with a thousand dinars, so the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be with him, said: “Othman did not harm what he did twice that day.”

The urge to get rich came, like the prophet, may God bless him and give peace, to those who wanted to give all his money, saying: “It is better for you to leave your heirs rich than to leave them . as dependents, because you leave them alone, because you leave them alone. ” Nothing, and they can get nothing to live with.

He also encouraged ambition, and we have the best example in the prophet of God Solomon when he said, “My Lord, forgive me and give me a kingdom that does not suit me. [ص: 35] And the face of the kingdom, but his companion with the best houses as the money met with science and the Muslim in his money and the right of his Lord and the right of himself and the rights of the people said peace with him: “But the world for four Nefer Abdel Razakh God is money and knows in it, in the best houses”

6. He made one of the reasons for wealth the economy, and therefore it was said: What is high is he who is thrifty, who walks in his money in a middle way, not extravagant or stingy, who does not reach poverty.

7. Peace to you. [النحل: 14]

8. And made one of the surprising fruits, a worship that leads to Radwan Allah giving money, I said. [نوح].

9. Islam ugly poverty, so it makes it the companion of infidelity, and the prophet, may God bless him and bring peace, sought refuge in both of them, therefore he said: O God, I seek refuge in You against unbelief and poverty.

10. There is no person who is unable to provide something by which he obtains a wage that can bring him to the limit of existence or reduce his need for people, and when that person does what he has to do of the work she fits. abilities, and seeks to develop it with the help of the community, the community must extend a helping hand to him To supplement what is lacking in his needs.

You may find those who talk a lot about bad luck, lack of opportunity and disappointment, and maybe these people hid behind the tears they shed or stood at the stations of failure, but the nature of life and the nature of a normal person is that he does not give in to failure, but when he sees a closed door, he tries to open it, if he is unable to find a door. Another, third and fourth, until God Almighty empowers enlightenment.

أَخلِقْ بذي الصبر أن يحظى بحاجته   ومدمن القرع للأبواب أن يلجا

If zakat is one of the important resources to provide in the needs of the poor, then it is not the first or the last resource. Rather, societies should work together to open up job prospects and provide opportunities, and the rich should help their families and take care of the expenses of those who are unable to provide maintenance, either due to a health shortage or The tightness of the hand and the many demands of life, and the state must strengthen support programs, provide jobs, and care for the most needy groups.

[1] Sunan Abi Dawood, The Book of Zakat (1626) and al-Tirmidhi in the chapters on zakat (650), al-Tirmidhi said this hadith is good, and as far as al-Albani is concerned, he verified it in al-Sahihah.
[2] Ibn Asakir mentioned it in a chain of transmission to the messenger, may God bless him and give him peace, on the authority of Anas, with the wording: He who spends the night after seeking the righteous is forgiven, and the chain of transmission is weak. The meaning of the urge to work and eat is taken from the same hand, and the aversion to asking is taken from his word, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: (No one has ever eaten food better than for of the work of his hand, and that the prophet of God, David, peace with him, ate of the work of his hand). Read by Al-Bukhari.
[3] The whole hadith was included by al-Tirmidhi (1218), and Abu Dawood (1641), and the wording is for him, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, that a man from the Ansar came to the prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he asked him, saying, Is there nothing in your house? He said: Yes, we carry a little leather and lubricate it, and we will drink some water in it. He said, “Bring it to me.” He said, “Then he brought them to him, so the messenger of God, may God bless him and give him peace, took them by the hand and said, ‘Who will buy these two?’ A man said: I will take them for a dirham. He said: “Whoever exceeds a dirham two or three times.” A man said: I take them for two dirhams and he gave it to them, and he took the two dirhams and he brought it to the Ansari, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God his over him , pulled a stick in his hand and then said to him, “Go and sell wood, and I will not show you fifteen days.” The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “It is better for you than for the question to come upon your face on the Day of Resurrection, because the question is only suitable for three : the one who suffers from extreme poverty, or the one who is heavily in debt, or the one who has painful blood. ” Al-Tirmidhi improved this hadith because it is like the narration of famous people.
