Three years after coming on the scene as one of the most prestigious, award-winning three-wheel drive, eight-passenger SUVs in the United States, the Kia Telluride returns with a myriad of improvements, building on the success of the original model, for the first time At the New York Show with sleek design, more capability and improved off-road technology.

The Telluride comes with two brand new trim levels, the X-Line and X-Pro. The car is more solid, with features and capabilities that allow it to climb off the paved, explore new worlds of wildlife and take off-road driving.
Retaining its bold and sophisticated look, the Telluride has undergone an exterior redesign for a tougher, more refined look in the new model year.
The styling includes revised vertical headlights (LED as standard) and available fog lights, new bumpers and grille, revised taillights, new rear and side sill trim for the lower doors, and new wheel designs for each finish in three new exterior colors— dark blue, red and green.
Interior design
As before, the Telluride’s interior embodies a sense of refined exploration in a spacious, three-row cabin with seating for eight passengers in a class-leading class.
New cabin updates include the availability of 12.3-inch dual smooth-curved head-on screens, a redesigned instrument panel with upgraded panels, air vents and air conditioning, a redesigned steering wheel and new interior color packages.
Telluride class
The new Telluride introduces two new trim levels, the X-Line and the XPro, to Kia owners who like to venture off the beaten path every now and then. Both four-wheel drive models offer a list of exclusive upgrades and improvements over other Telluride models.
The XPro model is built on the X-Line model. Furthermore, the X-Line model replaces the previous Telluride Nightfall Edition.
Telluride X-Line
On the outside, the Telluride X-Line features a unique radiator grille design, distinctive roof rails, body-colored door handles, exclusive 20-inch wheels, and an “X-Line” badge.
The cabin has “X-Line” inscription on the upper backrest of the front seat, exclusive colors, ground clearance (+10 mm), improved approach and launch angles, towing mode to improve towing performance (shift logic, swing control), and control system In developed traction (TCS).
Telluride XPro
In addition to the aforementioned X-Line features, the Telluride X-Pro is equipped with exclusive black 18-inch wheels, 18-inch off-road tires (Continental), and the “X-Pro” badge. Engine power
The new Telluride offers a capable and confident driving and passenger experience with driving pleasure and powerful performance for an SUV powered by a 3.8-liter V6 GDI engine that delivers 291 horsepower at 6000 rpm, coupled to an 8- gear automatic transmission and four-wheel independent suspension, wheels, and a monocoque solid body structure made of 59.4% advanced high-strength steel.
A self-leveling rear suspension is available, which automatically adjusts the ride height based on vehicle load to improve handling and stability.
The Telluride also has four ride modes – Intelligent, Economy and Sport, and Convenience Mode, each of which uses different settings for the propulsion system, propulsion system and steering effort planning to deliver the desired driving experience. In addition to the four normal driving modes, in AWD-equipped vehicles, drivers can choose from two different modes, “Snow” and “AWD lock” for specific driving conditions.
Active four-wheel drive is also available on request, helping to improve driving performance by effectively distributing torque between the front and rear wheels, depending on road conditions and driver input. The system uses an electro-hydraulic four-wheel drive clutch to precisely engage the multi-plate clutch, constantly redistributing the amount of power transmitted to the front and rear wheels.
Modern technology and smart keys
The newly added Hill Brake Control (DBC) 1 system retains control of the vehicle on steep slopes, the new Telluride adds new technical features, and a smart electric tailgate with automatic shut-off function and digital key is available: Allow customers to use iPhones and use Apple Watch and compatible Samsung Galaxy phones as a virtual vehicle key to lock, unlock and drive.
Furthermore, these keys can be shared with friends and family via text messages on available devices, via an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot that connects up to five devices to a 4G LTE network
