This happened during a speech delivered by His Highness tonight at the Alumni Association ceremony of Sharjah University, which was held at the Al Jawaher Center for Events and Conferences.

In his speech, His Highness welcomed the participants and said: “We welcome you to this first meeting with graduates of the University of Sharjah, this prominent university founded by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and we are proud of his prominent graduates in all fields. “

His Highness added, emphasizing the zeal to care for university students, saying: “A while ago I was listening to a meeting with the heads of scientific and cultural clubs and student councils, and I told them that we do your best to always have your university in advanced positions, even if the time for graduation has come, you have told everyone (We are graduates of Sharjah University and we are proud).

His Highness the President of the University of Sharjah announced the scientific development and high position of the university, which is preparing to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its founding, saying: “The University of Sharjah will at the end of this academic year its silver celebrates anniversary, and we will announce that we are among the 100 most powerful young universities in the world, according to the Times Organization’s classification. The ceremony began with verses from the Noble Qur’an, after which Dr. Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi, Director of the University of Sharjah, delivered a speech thanking His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi for his patronage and attendance at the annual ceremony of the Alumni Association, expressing his unlimited interest in all reflect. At the end of his speech, Al Nuaimi called on male and female graduates to continue to gain science and knowledge, emphasizing that the doors of Sharjah University are open for them to return and postgraduate studies and pursue specialization and to draw more from all. the sciences and knowledge it offers.

Then the audience watched a visual presentation that dealt with the progress of Sharjah University since its inception, the great efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness’s insightful vision in the care and follow-up of all the affairs of the university until it became one of the largest universities in the region His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi who accepted the presidency of the university, as a choice made to his family, to continue the march of Sharjah University towards more academic and scientific excellence.

In turn, the dr. Hanadi Obeid Al Suwaidi, President of the Alumni Association for the current session, delivered a speech in which she praised what the University of Sharjah offers to its students and graduates at all levels, scientific, cultural and social, explaining the prestigious position that the university locally, regionally and internationally held by various international classifications.

She addressed the history of the Association since its inception and its achievements, and in her speech called for all male and female graduates to communicate with the University, and the Association to achieve its goals through the bonds of relationships between the University and consolidate its graduates, establish and establish the concepts of belonging and loyalty among the graduates, and encourage them to continue with mutual giving and cooperation with the University, in order to promote community service and continue to the graduate to see.

At the end of the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi honored the sponsors, namely the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sharjah Media City, and Tilal Real Estate.

His Highness also received a souvenir from the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association of Sharjah University.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Sharjah government officials, members of the University’s Board of Trustees and members of the administrative and teaching bodies.
