AMMAN – The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced today, Monday, that the Council for Higher Education in its recent session decided to create a number of new specializations and study programs at the bachelor’s, diploma, masters and to approve a doctorate. levels, which meet the needs of the local, regional and international labor market, in addition to a number of professional and applied disciplines in public and private Jordanian universities and colleges, from the beginning of the next academic year 2022-2023, provide that they special approved by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission and ensure their quality before commencing teaching therein.

The following is a list of the programs and specializations that have been developed, broken down by universities and colleges:

1) The University of Jordan: Approval of the development of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Law / Aqaba branch, a Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical Business Administration, and a Masters Degree in Clinical Endodontics.

2) Yarmouk University: Approval of the introduction of a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a bachelor’s program in Applied English and a master’s degree program in digital marketing.

3) Mu’tah University: Approval of the development of a bachelor’s degree program in financial technology and risk management, and a bachelor’s program in applied English.

4) Jordan University of Science and Technology: Approval of the development of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Bachelor’s Program in Artificial Intelligence, and a Master’s Program in Medical and Biological Ethics.

5) The Hashemite University: Approval of the creation of a master’s program in sports management, a master’s program in electrical engineering and a master’s program in smart and secure computer systems engineering.

6) Al-Balqa Applied University: Approval of the launch of a bachelor’s program in renewable energy engineering at Al-Hosn University College.

7) Al-Hussein Bin Talal University: Approval of the creation of a master’s degree program in accounting.

8) Tafila Technical University: Approval of the creation of a master’s program in economics and digital finance, and a master’s program in applied mathematics.

9) The German University of Jordan: Approval of the development of a bachelor’s program in business intelligence and data analysis, a bachelor’s program in design and information media, a bachelor’s program in health informatics, and a doctoral program in German for non-native speakers.

10) Al-Ahliyya Amman Private University: Approval of the development of a bachelor’s degree program in physiotherapy, a higher diploma program in legal accounting and a master’s degree program in construction engineering.

11) Applied Science Private University: Approval of the development of a bachelor’s program in computer science and artificial intelligence, and a master’s program in interior design.

13) University of Petra: Approval of the development of a bachelor’s program in digital film design technology, a bachelor’s program in virtual reality, and a master’s program in chemistry.

14) Al-Zaytoonah Private University of Jordan: Approval for the development of a Bachelor’s Program in Sustainable Energy Engineering, a Bachelor’s Program in Digital Marketing, and a Bachelor’s Program in Electrical Engineering / Intelligent Systems and Communication Engineering.

15) Jerash University: Approval of the development of a bachelor’s program in the field of medical laboratory sciences, and a master’s degree program in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
