Al-Azhar for the fatwa on giving money to the comfortable: Greed for the world

Al-Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa said recently it appears that people are eager to give their money to those who claim to invest it and trade in it, known as “the comfortable one.” These people have their greed in the world and their attempt to achieve extreme wealth, dissatisfaction with what God has divided, and consideration for what others have. The Center explained on the basis of the question of the seventh day: Islam’s position on greed ? And how to treat it?

And the center continued in response to the question of the seventh day, is to deposit money with the “relaxed person” a form of greed, as the center confirmed: greed is a reprehensible and reprehensible trait that is repulsive to normal human instinct, and is in conflict with noble moral values, and this trait leads its owner to multiple diseases, including envy and wishful thinking. In people, selfishness and self-love.

لذا فقد حذرنا منها ربُّنا سبحانه فقال جلّ شأنه : ﴿ وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا مَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبُوا وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبْنَ وَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا﴾ [النساء32]Desire is the perception of what has no reality and a request for it that has not taken the reasons to achieve it, and it includes the meaning of greed for what is in the hands of others, and envy for it, and that it leads to misery of the soul and corruption of morals and religion Some in money and other things, it leads a person to confusion and constant anxiety due to his greed and his dissatisfaction with what God has divided for him.

Man’s zeal to educate the soul and youth not to have greed in general and to force them to be content with what God has ordained, while using reasons to increase food and the capacity for goodness, is a praiseworthy cause, rather an obligation, as our Lord, honoring Him, says: It is He who humbled the earth for you, therefore walk on it and destroy it with Me. He guides the disobedient people ( and the evidence from this verse is that the greedy did not achieve what he achieved, except because money gained control of his heart and he ran out of trust in God and the meaning of true faith was not fulfilled for him.Al-Razzai says: “If the care of this worldly interests are It is better than obedience to God and His Messenger, and to strive in the cause of God – and one of the meanings of striving here is to strive against yourself and not fulfill all that you strive for and desire – so wait for what you love until God brings his command, that is, with immediate or delayed punishment, and what bed becoming oel is a threat.

There are many texts in the Sunnah of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, which warn us against greed and to lapse into it, for greed leads its owner to a consequence from which we take refuge. seek in God. And if it knocks, it will betray him.) [رواه مسلم 2865].

It was rather out of his guidance, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, to seek refuge with him in God, and it was out of his supplication: [رواه مسلم 2722].

And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (If the son of Adam asked for a valley of money and it was given to him, he would have asked for a second, and if he for asked a second and it was given to him, he would have asked a third, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and God repents of the one who repents) [رواه الترمذي 3898].

How to cure greed:

There are many aspects that have helped to get rid of this disease, including the following:

First: Trust God with the need to strive for good and earn a living:

Trust in God is one of the signs of a person’s faith, and he is emphatic in the provision of food and its attainment, and the conviction that God, the Almighty, has divided the food under his creation, and that in advance for their destiny, and that he cuts the ties in obtaining his sustenance between him and others as God Almighty, and trusting in God Almighty as he takes the reasons and gathers them. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, says: (If you trusted in God if you had to trust Him, He would have provided for you as He provided for a bird. [رواه الترمذي]

Second: Satisfaction and satisfaction:

Satisfaction and acceptance of what God has determined and determined, so that a person can be in happiness, peace of mind and contentment, and lead a stable life without paying attention to others and not walking according to his whims, he said , peace be upon him, who shows the fruit of satisfaction: [رواه الترمذي] As for dissatisfaction, it causes one to constantly live with fatigue, dissatisfaction, distress and boredom, because of his greed and his consideration of what others have.

Third: Preoccupation with worship and remembrance of God:

There is no doubt that the remembrance of God Almighty leads one to satisfaction and trust in God for what he brings to the soul of peace. The Almighty said: {Those who believe and whose hearts are at peace in memory of God, but in the memory of God hearts find rest.} [الرعد: 28]The remembrance of God, the Almighty, contains relief from distress, the facilitation of affairs, and the attainment of happiness in this world and the hereafter.

Fourth: Much forgiveness.
