This happened during the weekly session of His Highness the Emir of Al-Qassim at Al-Tawheed Palace in Buraidah, entitled “Culture of Difference”, in which the professor at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Dr. Khalid Kariri, participated in the presence. of His Excellency the Director of Qassim University, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud, the Undersecretary of the Emirate of Qassim, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Wazzan, and a number of officials, dignitaries and families in the region.
His Highness the Prince of Al-Qassim indicated that one of the most prominent and important aspects of the difference in Islamic law is the presence of the four schools of thought in certain details, and their similarity in the jurisprudential principles.In this holy land, there is an example that affirms the fulfillment of the goals of Islamic law with respect for all the different segments of the Saudi community, and the importance of adhering to national unity, regardless of differences in views, and it does not affect citizenship. the security of the homeland and the affection and compassion of society, and social peace are evident in our homeland.
وكانت الجلسة قد شهدت عرضا مرئيا يحكي الجهود التي تبذلها المملكة في تجاه رفع الوعي في ثقافة الاختلاف والأدوار المؤسسة التي تبذلها الجهات المعنية بهذا الجانب. وتحدث الدكتور كريري عن ثقافة الاختلاف مبيناً أنها سنة كونية من سنن الله عز وجل كاختلاف الأديان، وسبب في التعارف بين الأمم والشعوب وعامل لتعزيز العلاقات، مشيراً إلى أن الاختلاف بالرأي يعكس ظواهر إنسانية متحضرة وتجارب شخصية كونت منظورا خاصا يختلف من شخص إلى آخر ، لتكتمل معها الصورة الإيجابية للمجتمعات على حد سواء. وتناول إلى أن ثقافة الاختلاف ظاهرة صحية تتوارد معها الأفكار والحوار مع الآخر ضرورة حتمية قائمة على الأفكار والحجج والبراهين، بمختلف جوانبها دون المساس بالثوابت الدينية والوطنية.

He added that King Abdulaziz – may his soul rest in peace – did not distinguish between one sect, one sect, one generation and another. Rather, everyone has equal rights, and this indicates the genius of King Abdulaziz in the culture of difference, dream and patience in all political and social spheres.
In turn, professor of history at Qassim University, dr. The Secretary-General of the Qassim People’s Committee, dr. Ali Al-Aqla, explained that King Abdulaziz – may God rest his soul – started the noble prophetic approach in the culture of difference, and did not mention that King Abdulaziz offended his opponents, but rather was good to all and honored them until they sacrificed their lives and precious things, according to historians.He appealed to the scientific departments of the universities to adopt the theories of King Abdulaziz in this field.
As for the professor of history at Qassim University, dr. Muhammad Al-Salama, he touched on the aspects of wisdom and genius in the personality of King Abdulaziz, and his role, may God rest his soul, in the recovery of people.
The supervisor, with the education of Onaiza, dr. Ibtisam Al-Turki, explained the role of the founder, King Abdulaziz, and how he was able to unite the vast island.
To those with whom he differed in leadership positions, and the efforts made by the wise leadership to foster a culture of dialogue through the establishment of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue.
Dr. Reem Al-Zaid of Al-Qassim Education pointed out that differences are a characteristic of all people, in their nature and psychological characteristics, and this is one of the divine traditions.
