Colleague Muhammad Al-Joker, media adviser to the Al-Bayan newspaper, secretary general of the Sports Media Association, launches his new book “The Emirates and Egypt … A Biography of Love” in a series of extensive historical publications which he issued and was eager. on the documentation of sporting events, which affected several libraries in most Arab countries at the level athlete.
The Olympic Center in Maadi in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, will witness the inauguration of the book and the official announcement of its publication, in the presence of dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports.
The new book is the eighteenth in a series of historical and documentary publications he has issued in recent years over a long journey of 43 years, during which he enriched the Arab Sports Library with many documentary books that have contributed to the preservation of sports history.
The book “The Emirates and Egypt … A Biography of Love” comes in 200 pages and includes 9 different chapters. The book begins with an opening speech on the late founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, and his historic speech on Egypt, in which he said: “Egypt’s renaissance is a renaissance for all Arabs.” I have advised my sons to always be on the side of Egypt, and it is my will to repeat to them before you, to always be on the side of Egypt. This is the way to achieve glory for all Arabs. Egypt for the Arabs is the heart, and if the heart stops, the Arabs will not write life.
The book also contains a speech by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education and Chairman of the General Sports Authority, during which His Excellency emphasized that the relations between the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt are deep and historical roots. and strong fraternal relations that are an essential model for relations between countries and peoples, whose ties have been strengthened for decades.A long period of cooperation and strategic partnership, the positive results of which are reflected in sustainable development in various sectors and fields , between the two fraternal countries.
The book also includes a speech by Dr Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in which he said that the Egyptian-Emirati relations are a model to be followed in the relations between Arab peoples on several levels for decades, and they are not like other relationships as they are strong and solid based on solid foundations It is characterized by mutual appreciation and respect, and it grows and becomes more and more stable as the days go by.
The author concludes the book’s opening with a word entitled “Always with the Egyptians,” in which he embodies his love for Egypt and his love for his people, through many and varied details about his strong relationships with those he loves. Egyptians knew it, to tell. with his school years and those who worked with him in his long media career, approaching half a century.It was presented by the Egyptians and contributed to the building process in the UAE in various sectors.
The book speaks in its first chapter, entitled “A Love Story”, about the solid relations between the Emirates and Egypt since the founding of the UAE. In its third chapter entitled “Egyptian Creativity”, the prominent attendance of Egyptians in the awards organized. annually by the UAE, particularly the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Sports Creativity.
The fourth chapter, entitled “The First Visit”, deals with the visit of Al Wahda team in Dubai to Egypt in 1970, which was the first visit of an Emirati team to Egypt and lasted a whole month at the invitation of Eng. Othman Ahmed Othman, President of the Arab Contractor Company, as well as the subsequent visits to various UAE clubs and teams to Egypt.
The book speaks in its fifth chapter entitled “Nasser Cup” about the Sesparty Football Championship, held in memory of the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser and organized by Al-Ahly Club in Dubai, which witnessed extensive participation of clubs and school.
The sixth chapter is entitled “Shine in our stadiums”, and it is about the Egyptian coaches and players who have played in various clubs and organizations in the UAE football stadiums since the establishment of the state until now, especially the late Shehta, who played the UAE national team led in the first championship in which he participated in the 1972 Golf Cup.
The book, in its seventh chapter, entitled “Ten Omars,” highlights the various stations of the book’s author on the good land of Egypt, especially the inauguration of the book “Sports in the Mind of Zayed” in Cairo.
In its eighth chapter, the book deals with the title “Always with you”, which is the constant and permanent title of the book’s author’s article in the newspaper “Al-Bayan”, his private memories and stories with Egyptian officials, athletes and professional media. .
In its ninth chapter, entitled “Partners”, the book talks about the close cooperation between Egypt and the UAE in various economic, cultural and sports fields.
