He added: There is no doubt that the Governor of Muscat in turn seeks to improve the national culture among the youth by focusing on strengthening the Omani identity, positive social traditions and customs, social solidarity, the establishment of the values ​​of citizenship, striving to spread peace and tolerance, paying attention to the arts, and preserving and highlighting culture and cultural heritage. The governor’s interest in establishing the values ​​of citizenship in line with the lofty guidelines that emphasize the importance of the role of various communities. institutions by participating in the guidance of young people, protecting individuals from the dangers of social media, and focusing on consolidating values ​​and principles. This initiative is also in line with the vision and mission of the Governor of Muscat, which is to preserve authentic Omani values.

Dr. Badriya Al-Wahaibi, Head of the Citizenship Cultural Salon, pointed out the importance of this cultural event, which stems from the role of the various community institutions in crystallizing the concept of national belonging and linking citizens to their national responsibilities and duties . Al-Wahaibih said the idea of ​​establishing the Citizenship Cultural Salon came in recognition of its importance in supporting the cultural role in achieving the development of youth and society. The first event of the salon kicked off with a dialogue session. The first paper was delivered by dr. Meanwhile, Badr bin Saeed Al-Dahli, Director of the Department of Tourism Studies at the Oman College of Tourism, spoke in his paper on tourism culture and its economic impact on society, and discussed international and Omani experiences that invest in culture and heritage. has. the field of tourism and had an economic return.
