Dr. Ali Gomaa, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars in Al-Azhar, said that the holy month Dhul-Hijjah is a month in which God imposed Hajj, explaining that the ten days end with the blessed Eid al-Adha .
The month in which God made the Hajj obligatory
And Ali Gomaa continued with a post on his official Facebook page Facebook page: Today is one of those days that Imam Al-Bukhari, Al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood, under the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be Almighty satisfied with them, reported on the authority of the prophet, peace with him, that he said in them: “There is no The days of righteousness in them are more beloved to God than these ten days.”
He pointed out that this means that we are now in a steadfast divine breath, and at a starting point that we must grasp, and do good deeds outwardly and inwardly, to worship God, to build the earth, and to build the soul. cleanse, in these ten blessed days.
Ali Juma’a continued: “There are no days” because these are the best days of the year, just as Laylat al-Qadr is by far the best night of the year, “good deeds during them” – and in Al- Bukhari’s narrative: “In them” – “there are more beloved of God than there are these days.” In al-Tirmidhi’s account, “From these ten days,” he specified them. They said: O Messenger of God, not jihad ?! He said, “Not even jihad.”
Ali Juma’a stressed: So, we know the value of jihad, and the virtue of jihad, jihad is the height of the hill, jihad is the highest of deeds, then the messenger of God, peace with him, warns us on the virtue of these days; Because he compared it to the best thing in Islam, which is jihad for the sake of God. They said: O Messenger of God, not jihad for the sake of God ?! He said, “Not even jihad in the cause of God, except for a man who went out with himself and his money, and returned with nothing.” He was serious with himself with his money, and left his family to God, trust, confidence and satisfaction with what God has, and submission and trust in God Almighty, he is a true believer, God Almighty will succeed him in his son , family, sons and grandchildren; Because he is serious about himself for God and his money for God, and puts his trust in God, and is content with what God has, and is at peace with God’s command. “Except for a man who went out with himself and his money, and then came back with nothing.” That is, he was tortured in the cause of God, and he went out with all his money, so he spent in the way of God in that jihad.
And our prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says, “In the days of your Lord there are breaths of remembrance, so you are exposed to the breaths of God.” In these days we live in a whiff of the breath of our Lord, glory to Him, it is God’s day.
In turn, Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowment, mentioned some of the virtues of the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, which coincide with the second day of Dhul-Hijjah 1443 AH.
Virtues of the Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah
And the Minister of Endowment said: God (Almighty and Majesty) has chosen some days over others, and some months over others, as our prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) says: “Verily, O Lord, in those days of your life, have fragrances, so do not be exposed to them ”(The Great Lexicon of Al-Tabarani), explains that Among these blessed days are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, where our Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) says, “There are no days in which righteous deeds are loved by God more than these ten days. They said, ‘O Messenger of God, or jihad in the cause of God?’ The Messenger of God said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be with him, said: “Not even jihad in the way of God, except for a man who went out with himself and his money and with nothing returned. ” (Sahih Al-Bukhari).
The Minister of Awqaf continued: These are the ten blessings that the Holy Qur’an described as the days of information, in the Almighty says: “Let them testify for them and remember the Name of God in the days of knowledge of what they have . given to them. ” And our Master Abdullah bin Abbas (may God be pleased with them) mentioned that these are the ten nights that the Lord of Glory (Almighty and Glory to Him) swore in His Mighty Book and said: “At dawn and ten nights “(Al-Fajr: 1, 2).
The Minister of Donations emphasized that the Muslim should benefit from the good things available to him in these ten days, such as fasting, praying at night, commemoration, recitation of the Koran, feeding, observing the ritual of sacrifices, maintain the bonds of kinship, and multiply alms, if he has no money. What is given in charity, the doors to goodness are wide, and our prophet (may God bless and give him peace) is asked of where we can give charity every day? He said: “The doors of goodness are many: glorification and praise, branch beer and chanting, commandment of what is good and forbidding what is wrong, removal of harm from the way, listening to the deaf, leading the blind, showing the distracted of his distress, strive hard with your legs with the eager for help, and carry your arms firmly with the weak. It’s all a charity from you to yourself. “
And the Minister of Donations continues: It is desirable in these days to expand alms, as our Prophet (peace be upon him) says: “Strengthen your riches with zakat, and treat your sick with alms, and prepare and pray to God ‘s servants. In it, except for two angels who descend, and one of them says: O Allah, give a successor to the one who spends, and the other says: O Allah, give back to me.
And he added, in the ten days of Dhul-hijjah there cometh a great day, the best day of the rising of the sun, and that is the day of Arafat. It is before and the Sunnah after him “(Sahih Muslim), and it is desirable to multiply on this day of dhikr and supplication, where our Prophet (may God bless and give him peace) says:” The best of supplication is the prayer of the day of the knowledge of God, and the best of God is the best of God He has no partner, His is the Lord, and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things ”(Sunan Al-Tirmidhi).
And he added: There is a day of sacrifice on the day of the sacrifice, which is the Sunnah of our prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be with him) and Abraham (peace be upon him), and in it he says: “What is done by Adam and their hair and their claws, and verily, blood does not fall from God in a place before it falls from the earth, so be healthy with ourselves.”
The sacrifice has lofty purposes, for it is on the one hand a purification for the money and its owner, and on the other hand an enrichment for the poor, and an extension for family, friends, neighbors and loved ones. May God please. with him: “The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be with him, sacrificed two horns, which he slaughtered with his own hands, and called his name and grew up” (Agreed).
The Minister of Awqaf concluded: Just as the sacrifice is achieved through slaughter, it is achieved through a check, and there is no doubt that it maximizes the benefit of the sacrifice, especially for those who do not ‘ has a mechanism to spread it. in an optimal way, allowing it to reach its true beneficiaries through the sukuk system, while increasing the benefit and reward of the sacrifice. It also achieves the delivery of goodness to those who deserve it with pride, dignity, and a mechanism that does not degrade or harm humanity.
