Abdulaziz stressed the importance of the partnership between the public and private sectors in the field of electronic industries, which contributes to the localization of the technologies needed to advance the industry, and to increase the production capacity of technological designs together with the assembly capabilities to the return of that industry, adding that the semiconductor industry has received international attention. In light of the intense competition between the United States and China, and the consequent supply chain problems in the aftermath of the “Covid-19” crisis, which is the country’s entry into this field and increases its investment in it to avoid any global crises .

Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader, chair of the board of the Electronic Research Institute, said it was necessary to maintain the state’s presence in the semiconductor industry, citing a number of projects the state has accepted in that framework. , and it should continue its presence and increase its investment in it in the coming period, such as: The Scientific City Project for Research and Electronics Industry, which it says serves as a scientific incubator for entrepreneurs in the electronics industry, adopted by the state to enable young entrepreneurs to obtain services and consultations that qualify them to start activity in the market.

Abdel Qader added that the state is also adopting other semiconductor projects, which require its continued presence in that field, such as projects to support the post-design stages of electronic products, in which the state enters into an alliance with parties. from East Asia and Europe, to study the most prominent areas of chip production.She emphasized that all these projects indicate the importance of partnership between the public and private sectors in the field of semiconductors within the “state-owned” document.

Khaled Ibrahim, chairman of the board of the Information and Communication Technology Chamber, said the document “state-owned” came out with clear assessments of the performance of the public and private sectors, and the conditions of the electronic industry sector, indicating the degree of transparency in the state’s handling of partnership issues with the private sector, and knowledge of various institutions’ assessments.
