After competing with 130 teams around the world, the Egyptian team wins the “Grand Prix” in the field of networking in the Huawei International ICT Competition 2021-2022

Cairo: The Egyptian team participates in the final of the Huawei International ICT Competition 2021-2022, which ended its activities on June 25, where the Egyptian team won the “Grand Prize” in the field of “Networks” for the “Exercise “competition, and the other Egyptian team won The third place in the field of” cloud “, after beating better than 130 teams from 43 countries from around the world.

After 9 months of effort and intensive training by certified trainers from the National Telecommunications Institute, the two Egyptian teams, consisting of 6 students from different Egyptian universities, managed to reach the global finals and achieve a victory in all stages. which they fought among the 1500 Egyptians. students who participated in the local competitions of the competition. One of them won the grand prize and the other the third place after a strong competition, thanks to their skills and creativity in artificial intelligence, big data and cloud technology.

The sixth edition of the world competition has achieved the largest participation to date. The students also entered for the first time for a competition for a new series of Women in Tech awards specifically designed to honor outstanding talent of young female competitors. The Digital Inclusion Award (TECH4ALL) was also presented during the awards ceremony, as part of Huawei’s TECH4ALL digital inclusion initiative.
