It is easy for a person to choose an idea that sets him apart from others, but the real difficulty lies in how to apply it and to transform it into a practical discovery and innovation that prevents differentiation and choice.
This is what the 47-year-old Jordanian butcher was looking for. His idea crystallized in 2013, when he decided to create an inner world parallel to or an alternative to the outside world, by creating a cave in an exceptional style. create.
It was not a fleeting thug’s idea. He wanted to pull himself away from a world full of distortions and pain, and revise in an unknown way, and resort to the design of a house for meditation, in the form of a historic cave, which contains psychological effects with a whiff of executive ingenuity in the arrangement of the rocks.
A place that simulates the shape of the first man’s house with different temporary developments, to form a unique model, through hundreds of rock pieces collected from nature, along with artifacts that force the visitor to delve into their details and formations dig and navigate in a psychologist refuge for self-discovery.
Deviation from the ordinary is what distinguishes the place, because through it and through it meet the artistic and spiritual dimensions, since the soul on the one hand is calm and comfortable, and the eyes of his eyes do not cease to enjoy the beauty of the design . and to choose its rocks, which speak of splendor and elegance, in which the stone tells stories of men.
The Anatolian correspondent visited the place and saw how it was designed and listened to its owner, who created the description with perfection and professionalism.
Sufha began his speech by saying: “Suffering multiplies the creator, since I had suffering (he did not mention it), so I decided to do a special job, and the choice was this cave in his current form.”
He added, “The work started in 2013, and it lasted for 6 consecutive months, during which I completed 90% of it, and the rest of the details lasted 7 years.”
He explained: “The work was in 4 phases, the first was to design the structure, and the second was to collect the stones and then stack them, to the last, which is the stage of decoration.”
As for the type of stones, he said, “I was looking for a specific type that is not available, and these are irregularly shaped stones that are known in the region as perforated stones, in addition to the rare stones.”
Regarding the latter, Safha explained: “These are stones that were collected individually, and I got each of them from a different place, and in their form they suggest that they are human and animal figures.”
Before coming to the cave, it was necessary to pass on other designs, whereby a serial killer wanted to give a state of passion for what was to come next. There is a windmill he made himself, and a house for birds.
Among the other landmarks scattered around the place, a waterfall of natural stone carved on top of a fish on it, it is not known whether it was a hand-carved or a petrified, and a large stone in the shape of an animal like a dinosaur, and in the middle of it all is the plant “Al Tayun” with a good smell, known for it Region.
At the door of the cave, it is prepared for the viewer that it was made centuries ago, but it is in fact a self-design through which a serial killer could highlight the smallest antique and heritage details, as the metal. pieces strewn on its edges, lock and key, a style that no longer exists, and its design became extinct decades ago. .
As he enters the cave, the visitor begins to lose control of his gaze, and is unable to control the movements of his hands, which quickly begins to touch and inspect every stone, heritage and archaeological piece in place. .
Completely isolated from the outside world, dim lights and silence dominate the place, where you can only hear the sound of water, of a small waterfall in the middle of one of the cave walls, and a hidden whisper of its rock formations.
Safha says: “The first challenge was that I had the courage to resist the objectors. Such actions are considered luxurious and unnecessary.”
He continued, “As you can see, the stones have human and animal undertones, a camel, birds, a wolf, a skull and deer horns … Whoever is sitting here must be deeper in the feeling of the rocks delf. “
He added, “What comforts the soul is that the stones force you to meditate and dig deep into it. I dealt with this construction work with the mentality of the discoverer, the methodology of the researcher and the artist’s feeling, and the the result was a unique model and a new work. “
He continued, “This is the Cave of Meditation, which has inadvertently become a place of pilgrimage for civilians from within Jordan and for tourists from outside, and they have found in it an opportunity for self-collection.”
He pointed out: “I have not found more beautiful than stone, the material of the first existence, to escape from heritage to heritage, rocks dating back thousands of years, which have not undergone any human change because they have been through the nature formed in its present form. “
Saffah believes that “the place is a short and unique style on the level of Jordan and the world, through the accumulation and encounter of its ideas in this small space, and realistic proof that man is capable of creativity.”
He concluded by saying: “With a sense of public responsibility and in contrast to the creative Jordanian personality, I see that I have no objection to providing the place for public service and attracting those who want to search for the unknown . “
