The Prime Minister opened the meeting by noting that the meeting comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to deal with the developments of the current global conditions and crises, and its repercussions on the economic aspects, which affect the daily lives of citizens can influence.

In this regard, he took note of the mandates issued by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to study the expansion of the beneficiary base of social protection programs, and to prepare an exceptional social protection package, taking into account the conditions of the most needy families, in an effort to reduce the burdens on their shoulders, given the high inflation rates in this recent.

The Minister of Finance confirmed that the government is providing the necessary funding for the social package that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has ordered to be implemented, in an effort to support the targeted families, to protect them and the negative consequences of the current global conditions.

The Minister of Social Solidarity has indicated that the social protection programs adopted by the ministry are aimed at improving investment in human capital and empowering the most vulnerable groups, in a way that contributes to the needs and requirements of the age stages of meet these groups, by identifying appropriate protection mechanisms for each age group, with the aim of responding effectively to their needs and requirements, in order to achieve their social protection.
