Acne can determine what has happened to your body and what health problems you may have.
But in most cases, the reason is all simple lifestyle issues that can be easily changed.

1. Around the mouth
Acne around your mouth occurs when the skin in this area is irritated or frequently touched, such as a cell phone or other objects such as helmet straps.
Various cosmetics and facial products can also be a cause, as well as hormones and genetics.
If it occurs frequently, see a dermatologist, but prevention is always better than cure.
So make cleansing your skin with a mild or gentle cleanser twice a day a routine, use cosmetics labeled “non-comedogenic” (doesn’t clog pores) and oil-free products, and please avoid touching your face.
2. On the nose
Our nose is one of the most common areas of the face to get acne because its pores are usually larger, making it easier for dirt and bacteria to clog them.
What’s more, the skin here is also more oily and therefore more prone to acne.
Due to diet, stress and certain medications, it can sometimes be a sign of more serious underlying health problems.
But the most common cause is poor hygiene, so it’s always a good idea to add some tea tree oil to your routine, which is a very gentle and effective acne treatment, or sulfacetamide sodium and sulfur which prevents bacteria increased on the skin. In very severe cases, a dermatologist should be consulted.
3. On the forehead
It is interesting to know that our hair can be the source of forehead acne.
If you don’t wash it often or if your hair is greasy, the oil can get on your forehead and clog its pores.
Various ointments, gels and waxes can also be blamed as they often contain cocoa butter or coconut oil and can leave your skin feeling extra greasy.
A mild detergent can solve this problem. If that doesn’t help, try to avoid any oily hair products and wash your hair more often.
4. Jaw and neck
If you thought acne in general could be hormonal, here’s good news for you: it’s not.
When certain levels of the hormone change, it can lead to an increase in androgens – the common factor that contributes to acne in adults.
But there are some areas that are real indicators of hormonal fluctuations, and that includes the jaws and neck.
It’s okay if fluctuations occur during menstruation, and it can also be caused by taking medications such as birth control.
Most of the time, the solution to the problem is a cleanser, moisturizer, and acne treatment that doesn’t clog pores.
5. On the cheeks
Cheek acne is also a very common problem, which is caused by cell phones.
Not only touching your face, but even just a phone conversation can cause some pimples to appear in this area.
Phones spread bacteria. Plus pillowcases, dirty sheets and other things that come in contact with your skin.
Cheek acne can be hormonal, but it can also be caused by certain lifestyle habits.
So everything can be solved with a few simple changes, like wiping your phone before every use and not moving it to any germ-infested places like the bathroom. It’s also a good idea to change your pillowcases and sheets, as is washing your hands regularly.
6. On your back
It’s just an allergy to sunscreen, moisturizer, body creams, massage oils and waxes, or because our sweat mixes with oil and toxins on our skin and clogs our pores.
This is why a quick shower after exercise is so important, and proper washing of your back is a must.
Dirty clothes, blankets and pillows can also become a major cause of back acne.
Tight clothes are also a bad idea because they don’t allow your skin to breathe, which can cause irritation and, as a result, blisters on your back.
If there is no obvious external cause, it is best to pay attention to your diet and see if you are getting enough nutrients.
7. On the legs
Acne is mainly caused by bacteria, sebum and dead skin cells that are trapped in the hair follicles and clog the pores, leading to inflammation, which is a completely physical problem on the legs.
This is usually caused by some sports equipment rubbing against your skin or clothes or underwear that are too tight.
But be careful, people can often confuse acne on their legs with similar conditions such as folliculitis, eczema or keratosis pilaris.
So if it is itchy and painful, it is best to consult a doctor and use a professional treatment.
8. On the chest
Breast acne develops largely for the same reasons as it occurs on our backs and legs.
If you have sensitive skin, harsh detergents can clog and irritate your hair follicles.
So it’s best to choose hypoallergenic products that are free of sulfates and fragrances when planning your next washing routine.
Wearing clothes that are too tight or too tight can cause
If you don’t breathe properly during exercise, sweat, oil and bacteria can get trapped in your skin pores.
It also occurs as a result of using some body creams that contain pore-blocking ingredients.
So make sure to look for flavor and oil free versions next time.
