Dr. Rania El Gohary, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at the Misr University of Science and Technology, said that the college is interested in recruiting distinguished faculty members who have strong knowledge along with theoretical and applied experience, and that they are able to use the available resources to maintain educational skills, and assess the level of students, Preparation and development of courses and the management of the educational process to achieve the goals in the best way. El-Gohary emphasized that a mechanism has been developed to evaluate the outputs of these projects through the establishment of four court-appointed seminars with justice and equity, as transparency is the hallmark of this assessment, as students are informed in advance of the assessment criteria. , and the diversity of solutions provided by these projects appeared effective to maximize the role of technologies. Modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, informatics and robotics, in addition to a number of smartphone applications connected to big data and the Internet of Things, where the main axis of graduation projects benefit society and link industry to academia in various areas, for example areas such as tourism , education, health, environment and cyber security.
El-Gohary indicated that a number of specialized professors from the departments of computer science, information systems and artificial intelligence in the college supervised the graduation projects for the spring of 2022, and produced a total of 59 projects. Through these projects, students trained in various skills, for example working as a team and finding innovative solutions to various problems, as well as applied scientific research, documentation and analysis of outputs, explaining that the college was keen to improve the effectiveness of raise its students through high-level technical and applied training to satisfy their knowledge needs with the goal of practical application in graduation projects, and train college students to use software project management tools and how to prepare a schedule that is consistent with the size of the tasks for each of the stages through the graduation project, explaining that from the beginning the college adopted a participatory approach with industry and success partners, and a number of digital transformation leaders and leaders of software companies in Egypt were invited as external arbitrators and discussants for various graduation pro projects for students of the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Egypt for Science and Technology.
