She pointed to the challenge of rapid technological development and the need to keep up with it in government policies and strategies, the lack of sufficient commitment to the ethics of artificial intelligence, and the reluctance and resistance to use traditional systems in the application of artificial intelligence to develop. .
The strategy highlighted the challenge of Jordanian talent migration and competition in regional and international markets, and represented another challenge in the lack of confidence to invest in artificial intelligence applications.
On a related level, the strategy said that Jordan faces a challenge in the artificial intelligence industry represented in the limited government funding for the information technology sector, the fear of penetration of privacy and cyber security requirements, and the lack of optimal exploitation of the infrastructure, which has led to challenges represented in the collection, processing, storage and transfer of data, including data Personal, and challenging high taxes, fees and operating expenses on existing and emerging companies.

The preparation of the Jordanian strategy for artificial intelligence and the executive plan 2023-2027 presented on the website and social media platforms of the ministry is based on the recommendations of the Jordanian policy for artificial intelligence for the year 2020, which the development of a general strategic framework to activate artificial intelligence in all priority sectors, in addition to finding a road map with a time frame Specifically to implement projects and initiatives resulting from the strategy and its implementation plan.
The Jordanian strategy for artificial intelligence contains a clear vision that aims to elevate Jordan to one of the leading countries and to compete regionally in this field by creating a legislative, technological and entrepreneurial environment that supports investments in artificial intelligence attract, and the national system supports the adoption of artificial intelligence techniques such as efficient and trained Jordanian human resources and digital infrastructure to contribute to the support of the national economy.
The strategy included five main objectives of the strategy in accordance with the policy of artificial intelligence. The first four objectives focused on the development of the system that supports artificial intelligence through capacity building, the development of Jordanian skills and expertise in the field of artificial intelligence , encouraging scientific research and development in the field of artificial intelligence, and improving the environment Investment and entrepreneurship in the field of artificial intelligence, and ensuring the legislative and regulatory environment that supports the safe application of artificial intelligence. The fifth objective focused on the application of artificial intelligence tools to increase the efficiency of the public sector and priority sectors.
