The Sultanate of Oman has launched a new initiative based on the use of golf as a catalytic ambassador to promote the Sultanate’s tourism potential to the Italian public, as well as the great investment opportunities in which the Sultanate abounds.

The initiative came as a result of a constructive dialogue on the sidelines of the golf meetings between Francisco Blau Grieg, Honorary Consul of the Sultanate of Oman in Milan, Italy, and Ali Daoud, CEO of David Group. The “Oman Golf Cup” initiative is to invite Italians and Europeans in general to explore the tourism experiences that the Sultanate has to offer, as well as the favorable investment opportunities. The initiative was launched yesterday morning at a press conference at Kempinski Hotel Muscat under the patronage of Basil bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth National efforts to achieve the Oman 2040 vision.
