Regarding the corporate development plan, Zaidan emphasized that during the next phase it is planned to expand in partnerships with the private sector and reduce the bleeding losses of some companies that started to decline from this year, such as the Suez Arsenal Company, which losses amounted to 113 million last year, decreased this year by 34 million, or 30%, and it is planned to achieve gains with the activation of partnership with the private sector.

The company has been doing maintenance work for the floating and dry docks, which has drained some of its profits this year.

Zaidan noted that bringing in the work of the companies affiliated with the Suez Canal Authority is not limited to external contracts. He added: We are currently discussing ways of cooperation with the Dubai Ports World Company, having arranged a visit to them to inspect the capabilities of the companies affiliated with the Suez Canal Authority, and aspects of cooperation are being discussed with the technical side of the group will soon be operational.
