This week, in our regular fortnightly article, The Times of Israel looked at house prices in secondary locations – areas that have seen rapid growth, but prices have risen more slowly than those of their headline-grabbing neighbours.

These locations, close to major cities, offer sometimes hard-to-find bargain housing prices, especially in an overheated market and a shortage.

Using a national property tax database, we look at the prices people actually paid for homes (although property taxes can take several months to appear through the system).

1.
